The Harker School Boys' Swimming
The 2006 season marks the beginning of a new era in Harker Boys' Swimming. Barton Wells will be taking
over as the head coach.
Barton swam for Stanford University from 1984 to 1988 where he won three NCAA Championships. He also swam for
Canada's National Team in 1983. He has qualified for four Olympic Trials, spanning twenty years.
For the past three seasons Barton has been the assistant varsity coach and head junior varsity coach at Menlo
School in Atherton, California.
2006 has the promise of becoming a turning point in Harker Boys' Swimming, and becoming a source of pride
for the school as a whole.
